Here's another character ref. page for my vampire story, Blood Youth!!!
Y'know what? The more I work on this, the more I want to see it published, like Raven Child, my "Sage" novels, and all of my comics you guys still haven't seen yet. I'm falling in love with the characters and plot!
About Lucas....
Lucas doesn't come into play until way, waaaaaay into the future of Blood Youth's plot. Like, maybe even 100 chapters!
So why did I draw him now, you ask? Simply cuz I wanted to!
And, when I was developing a scene for later in Blood Youth, I just came up with the need for a character like Lucas. He's actually very important to the story, despite how long it takes for us to 'meet' him. I'm really happy with how he came out EXACTLY as I pictured him! It feels great!
Btw, I've never really tried drawing a guy with muscles before, and I'm super proud of this! They actually look NORMAL!!!!!
And now for Lucas' bio! I had to use my math skills to figure out some of the age/year numbers!!

Lucas was Blooded below the legal age twice; under Vampire laws, no one younger than 14 may be made into a Half-vampire, and no one younger than 20 may be made into a Full-vampire. No one knows why he was Blooded in the first place, but he was illegally Blooded a second time through the impatience and ignorance of the Ragnavir leader(s).
Admiral Corvidaeus is a strong, capable warrior, but despite the many merits he has been given, he seems unsatisfied and even disgusted. The reason for this is unknown, and is also why his leaders are hesitant to place him any higher in army ranks. Lucas doesn't care, however, and most of the time his mind seems to be elsewhere, as if he were searching for something....
